Giacomo Marzi is Senior Assistant Professor (Tenured) of Management at IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca (Italy). He is Associate Editor for IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management. Previously he was Senior Lecturer in Strategy and Enterprise at the University of Lincoln (UK), Department of Management, where he now holds a Visiting Fellow position. He received a PhD in Management from the University of Pisa, School of Economics and Management, Italy. His primary research fields are Innovation Management, New Product Development, and Bibliometrics. Author of three books and several papers that appeared in journals such as Technovation, Journal of Business Research, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, Human Resource Management Journal, International Journal of Production Research, and Scientometrics, among others. He is an active member of AoM, EURAM, and IPDMC.

Marco Balzano is a PhD Candidate in Management attending a Double PhD Program between the Department of Management, Ca’ Foscari University of Venice (Italy) and KTO Research, SKEMA Business School (France). He published in several international outlets, including Technovation, IEEE Transactions on Engineering Management, and Journal of Small Business Management, among others, and presented the results of his research activity in international conferences including the AoM Conference, EURAM, R&D, IPDMC. His main research interests deal with the study of chance, business strategy, and strategic management.

Davide Marchiori currently holds the position of "Tecnologo –Technologist" at IMT School for Advanced Studies Lucca (Italy), leveraging his expertise in behavioural economics research and holding a PhD in Economics and Management. He has more than fifteen years of experience in experimental, computational, and statistical research methodologies. His research, distinguished by a markedly multidisciplinary approach, has been published in prestigious international academic journals.
